Sandia Peak Utility Company Water Meter Upgrade Update
As Sandia Peak Utility Company previously announced, the company will be replacing it’s entire 2,500 water meters with new AMI water meters thanks to American Rescue Plan Act funding through Bernalillo County. These meters come equipped with advanced technology, including leak detection capabilities and real-time data. As a customer you will have access to leak alerts and real-time water usage data. You will be notified of how to gain access to this data after your meter is installed.
The meter replacement project is currently in progress and is about 50% complete. We anticipate the work to continue through Spring of 2024.
